A message from the Rector

Greetings!

When we say “All Are Welcome” at Saint Eustace, we mean ALL. That’s why we’re explicit in our Welcoming Statement and include “personal history, religious affiliation, age, race, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, national origin, family make-up, socioeconomic status, marital status, or political persuasion”. The list can and does go on. Those not listed are, of course, welcome as well.

When we say “All Are Welcome”, we also mean that all are welcome as they already are, not as we want or expect them to be. We welcome the unique and authentic selves of others. We do this because we believe that all are made in God’s image, and that as Saint Paul reminds us, no part of the body is dispensable. We also believe that there is wisdom and beauty to be found in the diversity of God’s creation. And it is through that diversity that God’s Spirit moves and flourishes. God’s dream for us is realized when all are included at God’s table.

And so, we invite you to join us, and us to join you, as we gather in worship, study, and service to offer God’s love revealed in Christ to one another, to our community, and to the world. We look forward to the journey we’ll walk together!

Blessings,

Reverend Ken +
