Earth Day Fundraising Dinner for Ukraine

In April 2023, the Outreach Committee at St. Eustace hosted a fundraising dinner to help raise awareness of Earth Day and to raise funds for ongoing humanitarian relief efforts in Ukraine.

In January 2023, St. Eustace hosted college athletes from around the world who participated in the Winter World University Games. The parish hall was converted into a warming / green room to stage the athletes and volunteers for the evening medal ceremonies in Mid’s Park.

Lake Placid Community Day

Every year, St. Eustace participates in the annual Lake Placid Community Day by tabling at the event and sharing our story, connecting with our neighbors and community partners, and celebrating the volunteers of the year.

Blessing of the Athletes

Every year, St. Eustace welcomes Iron Man participants and their families to a service the night before the competition. This service includes a blessing of the athletes.

2023 FISU Winter World University Games

Free Community Brass Concerts

Throughout 2023, St. Eustace hosted several free community brass concerts to benefit the community and the Lake Placid Sinfonietta Education Committee.

Tri-Lakes Pride Festival

Every year, St. Eustace participates in the annual Tri-Lakes Pride Festival by tabling at the event and sharing our story, connecting with our neighbors and community partners, and living into our Welcoming Statement which celebrates diversity and inclusion.

Community Tag Sale

Every year, Saint Eustace hosts a Community Tag Sale which encourages the reuse of old items and saves them from the landfill. All money raised helps to support the Ecumenical Food Pantry.

Blessing of the Animals

Every year, St. Eustace welcomes furry friends and their families to remember the life and ministry of blessed St. Francis of Assisi, and to receive a blessing for the upcoming year.

Lake Placid Holiday Village Stroll Storytime

Every year, St. Eustace participates in the Lake Placid Holiday Village Stroll by hosting story time and singing in the sanctuary. Following this, cookies and wreath-making are available in the parish hall.
